Line of Light Festival – Nine Elms London
Task:
- Prevent theft of projectors and generators across all sites.
- Prevent & Respond to Anti Social Behaviour across all sites.
- Direct the movement of heavy goods vehicles on work sites.
- Minimise possible risks to personnel and equipment across all sites.
- Provide access control to restricted areas and conduct authorisation checks on technical personnel to facilitate daily collection of generators and projector equipment.
- Record spectator numbers on all sites hourly and report and react to any suspicious behaviour.
- Provide up to date visitor information and support with way finding.
- Ensure spectators do not stand in the middle of traffic roads to observe projections.
24 hour on-site Silver Supply Event Control Room set up and operational - manned with day / night event controllers.
Static Security officers and Security Dog Handlers assigned for asset protection on all sites.
Mobile SIA Tactical Anti Social Behaviour / Crime Prevention patrol teams deployed across entire route from Kennington to Battersea Power Station via Nine Elms including at festival event hubs in Wilcox Road and New Union Square.
Emergency First Aiders deployed across entire event footprint including festival hubs.
NVQ Level 3 Spectator Safety Supervisors & NVQ Level 2 Spectator Safety Stewards deployed to obtain and record spectator numbers hourly and monitor spectator and public behaviour.
NVQ Level 2 Spectator Safety Stewards deployed to provide real time visitor service information and assist with way finding.
Security Manager and SIA Officers deployed to ensure spectator safety and compliance.
